Sarcastic Response:

Who Cares??

My Real Response: Reading this story gavce me a little chuckle.

But all kidding aside, signal theft of satellite and cable services is a major problem for those companies. There are all sorts of illegal "black boxes" out there, one for any kind of cable or satellite TV service. These devices are also easily available. Just type-in the proper words (something like "Get Free Cable Service" or "Get Free Satellite TV Service") in Google or Yahoo and you'll get links to sites selling these devices.

There may be as many as four or five million homes illegally receiving cable or satellite service.

Wow, he's both a murder and a thief!

That shouldn't suprise anyone.

If DIRECT TV waits as long as the Goldman family to get paid, DIRECT TV will be waiting forever.

Poor guy. After he spent his fortune on chasing down his wifes REAL killer, I don't know how he's going to come up with another 25K!

Why I don't mind paying for my DirecTV service:

1. They brought me service more than a year before Time Warner finally finished its rebuild of my area and launched digital cable.

2. Compared to Time Warner's current rates in my area, and factoring in that I would have to rent my receiver from them (DirecTV customers own their equipment), I would be paying between $20 and $25 more a month for cable.

3. When I had to have my dish relocated on the roof of my building because the property management company decided to completely replace the roofing, DirecTV sent an installer to do it on two business days' notice, made it the first appointment of the day, and waived the $97 charge for doing it (because I have been a long-time subscriber with an excellent payment history, they said).

Why would I want to steal service from a company I am happy doing business with?<P ID="signature">______________

OJ also announced he is creating a $50,000 award fund to find and prosecute the real signal thief in this case that set him up by placing a single glove atop the satellite dish.

"The glove didn't fit, so you must acquit," said Simpson.

DirecTV officials promised that OJ can watch himself on DirecTV should further legal action be warranted.

We now return to the major breaking news of the day: IT'S HOT OUTSIDE... IN JULY!!! Also stay tuned for an urgent missing white woman update.

Stealing television services seems to have gone down in popularity in recent years. I hear (I don't personally know) that it is hard to illegally get PPV services with a digital converter, and although DirecTV (or was it Dish?) changed all of their access cards recently, it's easier to get free satellite television than free digital cable.

The funny part is that O.J.'s financial state is such that he has is forced to steal television service.
