I posted this message in error in here and I asked for it to be deleted. No conspiracy.
Obviously the
whole conspiracy is over now that the desired effect has been achieved.
Interestingly enough, N/T about evil 'Diebold' and 'Paper Trails' has tapered off, even on more 'progressive' outlets.
That HBO doc was an embarrassment. I mean, c'mon, really! There was so much wrong in that hatchet piece I could go into, but this is a radio board.
Remember, it was third parties that fought and raised $$ to investigate the 2004 election, not Mr (most unlikeable ) Kerry! Where are the protests now? I don't see the throngs lining the streets of DC demanding thier vote be counted today?!
First it was Dangling Chads. Then it was 'paper trail'. But when the Dems win....silence.
nice. :
Both Randi Rhodes and Sam Seder have talked about e voting AFTER the election.
Add Thom Hartmann to the list. In fact, the first thing he talked about after the Democrats won was e-voting, and he's still not letting up. He's a strong advocate of open-source voting software, such as the type coming to California (as a result, Diebold pulled their voting machine business out of the state).
yeah? that's pretty interesting, because I don't get TH in my market, so I thought I'd look him up.
His show website has how much on it about e-voting? Nil.
Look around the message forum 'about the show'. How many times does 'e voting' or 'black box voting' pop up? Uh, huh.....
The last verifiable thing I can find him on e voting post this election day was a brief mention in his Nov 17th show.
google 'Thom Hartmann and e voting'
quite alot of stuff there! too bad most of it is from 2004.
Including a piece for the widely discredited 'truthout' blog, you know , the one that told y'all how Rove was going to jail? Yeah, that's the one! With Bev Harris, you remember, dont you? She told CNN that 2002 elections were going to be catastrophic?! Maybe she should go work predicting hurricanes :
gee, for someone who's not 'letting up' on this issue, it's sure hard to find him on the front lines.
