Nexstar ends Bill Kurtis time as voice of WGN Radio

So a suit from Nexstar walks into WGN radio to run the place, and proclaims that he wants to give the station more of a "warm, Midwest feel". Then one of his first moves is to dump Chicago icon Bill Kurtis as the station's "signature voice" and replace him with a guy from New York. Nice!

And jingles? Maybe he'll rework some Pams series 18 sonovox cuts.

Yeah go figure, but don't forget that Todd Manley was still the first move, what is next all th staff go and they replace with syndicated talk shows that don't already have a Chicago home? John Batchelor is soon gone to lose his Chicago home on less his show picks up another station quickly, as Robert Feder also reported that Jennifer Weigel is soon go to host her own night time talk show on the station from 10:00 to midnight, as he reported that she already parted away with Mancow.
