Nexstar Media Group has poached a top business development executive from Amazon to help it grow digital advertising sales and revenue.
Lisa Taylor has been appointed to the role of Senior Vice President of Digital Advertising Sales at Nexstar, where she will develop strategies and executive growth initiatives across the broadcaster’s portfolio of ad-based digital products.
Taylor reports to Andrew Alford, the President of Nexstar’s broadcasting division, and will start in her new role on June 17.
“Lisa has established herself as a deeply experienced leader in digital sales and she understands keenly the nature of the rapidly evolving digital landscape,” Alford said in a statement on Wednesday. “She has been successful everywhere at growing ad revenue and profit, and knows how to build highly effective, collaborative sales teams. Her time at Amazon gave her a window into the digital space that will prove to be invaluable, and she will be a great asset to Nexstar.”
