Nexstar names Chris Flynn as new VP, General Manager of KRON-TV

Nexstar Media Group has promoted Chris Flynn, a former Comcast Advertising executive, to serve as the new leader of its San Francisco-based CW Network station.

Prior to this role at Nexstar, Chris Flynn has managed advertising and sales at Comcast, KPIX and KOFY.

Chris Flynn is joining KRON (Channel 4) as Vice President and General Manager, the local TV broadcaster announced on Monday. Flynn will be responsible for overseeing the television station and its associated digital properties, including the website and free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel for KRON, called KRON 4 Plus (stylized as KRON4+). He reports to Matthew Rosenfeld, the Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Nexstar.
