NFL, Yahoo! to Deliver First Global Live Stream of NFL Game

The NFL and Yahoo! Inc. will look to make some digital history this fall with the first-ever live stream of an NFL game to a global audience. Yahoo! will host the stream of the International Series game between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars from London’s Wembley Stadium on Oct. 25 and it will be available for free across devices.

The announcement is a big step for the NFL which has been vocal about its desire to improve its digital distribution and multi-platform exposure. The league is leveraging Yahoo’s global audience, digital advertising capabilities, and delivery platforms, which span desktop, mobile, tablet, connected TVs, and set-top boxes, to ensure that the Bills-Jaguars game is accessible on every screen globally.

For in-market fans, the game will also be televised in the both the Buffalo (WIVB-TV) and Jacksonville (WTEV-TV) markets live at 9:30 a.m. ET.
