The decision to end “Nick Cannon Radio” and “Cannon’s Countdown” was made by the host himself and not by Skyview Networks, which launched the multi-faceted entertainer into radio syndication three
It will be interesting to see where this is going now these shows have ended.
“I will have a major announcement for you in the next few weeks,” Cannon told Inside Radio in an email. “As a result, I am sad to say that I had to make the decision to wrap up ‘Nick Cannon Radio’ and ‘Cannon’s Countdown.’”
It’s not yet clear whether Cannon’s future announcement is radio/audio-related and thus prevents him from continuing with Skyview. Or whether the next venture from “The Masked Singer” host, comedian and father of 12 is in another field and he simply needs to free up some time for the new project.
