The NY Daily News and the NY Post are always trying to out do each other when it comes to coverage about Ex-Gov. Elliott Spitzer and the Belmar NJ girl who brought him down.

Before I went to sleep last night I saw a NY Daily News article that mentioned she broke her silence and left a new message on her myspace with a link to it.

Just like many other curious people I clicked on the link and started to scroll down to read some comments. I laughed my ass off when I saw who one of her friends was ? Tommy G of NJ101.5

What perfect timing at the end of the spring book, good exposure for Tommy G and the station since she is a Jersey Girl and how many profile hits her page gets worldwide.

About 3 months now, maybe it's time I ask Tommy G for a raise lol.

To get a little serious I'm a night owl and I like the guy he works hard to put on a good show when there's only crappy syndicated shows on that time of night and the show is live and very very local.

Take last night for example there was a fatal motorcycle accident on the NJ turnpike near exit 10 at about 1 AM and they closed the turnpike to investigate. NJ101.5 was the ONLY radio or TV station in NJ reporting it with Tommy G making sure you knew to avoid the NJ Turnpike. The traffic guy would come on every break and tell everyone to exit at Exit 9 and pick up Rt. 18 north 5 miles to 287 and then pick up the Turnpike again. You had to hear the grateful callers thanking Tommy G, his producer Double down and the traffic guy Jeff McKay for saving them hours of just sitting on the Turnpike while the NJ State Police did their investigation. If you listen to Tommy G like I do he's built up many fans and groupie's that resemble a cult like late night following. Hopefully more of them will join this board, I'll contact them through myspace to encourage them to do so. Speaking of myspace Tommy G has a new video of him with Hollywood stars. I put a link at the bottom of the page as any good PR person should do.

Since you feel I'm Tommy's PR person I will certainly now take on the responsibility as much as possible on the latest news regarding Tommy G's. radio and movie careers while you keep trying to push and make money with your internet station. Good luck to you and your radio internet venture. Let me give myself a fancy title like your have.

I was just messin' with ya. I just happened to notice virtually all of the threads about "Tommy G of NJ101.5" just happened to be started by you. (Although in fairness, I believe you posted in response to other subjects.)

By the way, I'm all for live and local programming. Hope Mr. G is successful enough to work his way up to a drive time.

I thank you for this last post by you. I respect what you are doing and I respect anyone who works as hard as Tommy G to make a night time radio show with woman calling him all the time telling him that he is their king a must listen to while providing vital local information to help his listeners avoid sitting on The NJ Turnpike needlessly for hours.

As far as drivetime for Tommy G he is more than ready to make the move to drivetime but I feel he is now to big for NJ101.5 and will need to move to NY or Philly or maybe both in syndication and go straight on with his good friend Ray Rossi in PM drive and may the better show win. Tommy G plays a lot of parodies and has production value to his show so I give him better odds going head to head with the current Jersey Guys.

How often would there be an accident in which you would sit for hours on the Turnpike at 1 AM?
 
I was out and about last night listening to Tommy G and heard the eastern spur of the NJ Turnpike was closed for hours at 1 AM due to a serious accident. Between the drunks on the road and people falling asleep at the wheel bad accidents happen in NJ at night and major roads here in NJ get closed due to them. For people who are out driving at night like me this is information that we greatly appreciate.
