First off, it's not Christmas music. It's Holiday music. And holiday music that will not offend the sensibilities of white, middle-age, suburban house wives. No soul, no Spanish. Heck, not even anything traditional, European or religious!

Second off, You're pulling in 106.7 from New York? Nice. WWLI went Christmas the monday before thanksgiving, and I think thats what you were trying to say though.

Feliz Navidad...

98.9 is not playing Christmas music, at least not all the time. Others doing Christmas now are WSRS, WCOD, WQSO, and WHOM.

As stated above, it's WSRS/Worcester playing all-Christmas, not WORC/Oldies 98-9. They, like most others, are mixing in a few per hour: Magic, WXLO/Worcester, Mix 98-5 (I think), and others.

I service Shaw's grocery stores and their in-store music system is now heavily mixing in the holiday tunes.

Christmas music is alot like Ryan Seacrest....you can't escape it no matter how hard you try. ::)

dang straight on that... and thanks for the heads up on Shaw's. I'll remember to bring my MP3 player when I'm in there. Or pretty much any store for the next month :p

In my travels today, it also seems that the Ed McMann-voiced "Logan Radio" has made the switch... but with a surprisingly decent variety of instrumentals - not really any of the standard tunes that 103.3 and 105.7 are pumping out.
