Re: No Point To HD Signal If Radio Is Lousy!(Or what is up "DOC")

Quite a problem, isn't it? What to do about the 'Analog Radio Problem'?
Customers won't appreciate TeamBLOC rendering their analog sets worthless.
Who the heck is "TeamBLOC"? I would suspect it's a made up term about people who you think conspire togethter to promote HD Radio? I can't speak for them, but I CAN speak for me. As far as I know there is NO "TeamBLOCK". In fact, Chuck and I are on the same side in another cause. Since I use an "Alias", he doesn't know me, but I know him. HE's a good guy. Working a noble cause. And although he has given me a hard time at times, he has always been respectful and made sense. You on the otherhand, errr... Don't fit that sdescription.
What auto maker would sell cars by telling you to junk your vintage car?
Maybe a better question would be... What government would tell you you can not use LEAD in your gas anymore? When your 58 Ford Custom REQUIRES a 90+ octane leaded fuel. Things evolve. And with them comes the end of your "FRINGE" listening. The examples of complaints from your QTH are WAY beyond normal listeners.
Why does TeamBLOC believe rules apply solely to others, and never them?
I guess I must be the mysterious TeamBLOCK. Again more rabid hate speak Mumbo Jumbo. Are you reading the prescription jibberish you claim to be permitted to write?
There is no selective enforcement of the FCC rules. AFAIK NO station is operating outside of the authorized parameters for Digital Radio prescribed by the FCC. If they are, they should be sanctioned appropriately by the FCC. If the line above means something else, then please feel free to clarify.
How will BunHD solve the "Analog Problem"?
OK, I'll bite. I'm a 50 year old White guy. What (or who) the hell is BunHD?
I don't know. However let me try and address the question I think you TRIED to ask.
In short, where you live... You don't
HAVE an "analog problem".
EVERYTHING protected in your area is 4th channel adjacent at worst. If you want to listen to WLW from Florida and you have a local 690 that is HD at night GUESS WHAT?
You lose.
I know it's ugly, but let's get real. Your local station sounding good is just more important than your ability to get Cincinatti.
Now the true challenge is to see if you can respond to this without making up words or throwing bombs.
What'dya say "DOC"
