It's a shame that local radio has disappeared in favor of satellite feeds
I thought WESX still had local programming, of a sort. Aren't most of its foreign-language religious programs low-budget productions of area churches and ministries, who pay to get them aired? Not exactly great mass-appeal radio, but it IS local.
Not exactly the full-service radio station that actually broadcast local info and didn't try to brand itself as a "Boston" station, either.
I understand the business end of this industry and I vowed to not become one of those "remember when" people who has problems adapting to how this industry has evolved, but as a LISTENER, it's a shame to not have WESX around anymore.
