NON STOP RADIO AND THEIR LIBERAL RADIO SUCCESS SECRET

A

ABQTom

Guest
I guess for this organization, their secret is email solicitations for money, and a national conference in 2008, including a "sexologist" as a guest (see below).

Hmmm... Last time I checked, successful radio was a business, running on commercials, even LIBERAL radio...

Sorry to see that times have changed. Liberals have to make a GOOD PRODUCT to compete with Conservatives - e.g. Ed Schultz, Alan Colmes, Jay Marvin, Jay Diamond, Ray Talliaferro and other liberals on KGO (did you here Ray's jazz show last night 12/31?!!!!).

from the 12/31 email. Most of these hosts mentioned don't get good ratings except for Ultraliberal, High Creative Class Score markets.

"....You are looking to forge a national community of
Progressive Radio
activists. You would like to come together and
conspire with others who
care just as much about securing the future of
Progressive Talk as you
do. You're not alone. Ed Schultz, Thom Hartmann,
Stephanie Miller,
Rachel Maddow, Cenk Uygur, Richard Greene, Peter
B. Collins, John
Nichols, Jon Elliott, and many, many more want to
help you, at the
first-of-its-kind NonStop Radio Symposium, to be
held August 1st through
3rd, 2008 in Madison, Wisconsin...."

Guest List...Hmm...doesn't it seem a bit strange to have a "sexologist" as one of the guests...?
