On Monday (March 2), the 60 member radio stations of the Northern California Broadcasters Association will begin a campaign to educate Bay Area consumers on the advantages of purchasing a new vehicle during the month of March.
These spots will be run at no charge to dealers. The campaign has a value of over $1,500,000.00.
...That's four spots a day per station, multiplied by 60 stations, for 30 days. Gratis.
Item 2:
NCBA will hold a radio job fair on Monday, March 16, at the Parc 55 Hotel, 5th and Market streets in San Francisco, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Come by the Mission Room at the Parc 55 for a presentation about the different types of jobs at radio stations, beginning at 5 PM.
Whaaaaaat? ...Th-th-there's jobs to be had in radio? Really?
