I can't confirm this but I was told that the former Powell stations that were sold to the South FL lawyer were sold to another party and that transaction closed last Thursday.....I guess we will know for sure in the next few days.

I noticed that too and was wondering if another take over was in progress... Nope, they are back on with the lawyer commercials. And I still hear "The Rock 107.5" playing on 95.9 from time to time.
I just looked at the 95.9 website and it still has Powell listed in the contact info and the Facebook pages haven't been updated since the storm. Truly an auto-pilot situation. This morning on the way to work I heard "The Rock 107.5" again and they do not seem interested in fixing the wrong sweepers. Not to mention the station seems to be at very low power as I have difficulty picking it up in the Parker area.
