I know that this has been touched upon a little more than briefly...but what's up CC's "rhythmic" stations in SF using their secondary HD's to rebroadcast playlists from years ago? KMEL sounds more R&B at times and mainstream others...where's the bay area hyphy, where's the old and new Richie Rich...there's nothing extreme about that. and WILD En Espanol? That sounds more like the WILD in the late 90's when they were in their glory days (pre CC and maybe even pre am/fm). You know the days when they had like 60 mixers, Michael Martin was the PD of that asset and only that asset. Damn I thought HD was going to take us further ahead not make us feel all nostalgic

Call the station. If doesn't do any good to complain here.

I don't complain about KYLD-2. It sounds good.

But I agree about KMEL-2. I turned this thing on yesterday and they were playing Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On! I'd like someone to explain how Marvin is Hip Hop, much less extreme? Ok, mabye he was extreme in 1969, but guess what yall? It's 2006! Women would consider him romantic, not extreme.

Like I said, I want my NWA.<P ID="signature">______________
