* I predict that 94.9 will drop the Praise for a St. Charles Parish-focused format, and 94.7 will be a St. Tammany-focused format as "94.7 the Lake".

And as of today, the 2nd part of my "DELUSIONAL" (as Jace Edwards referred to me) prediction came true.

And Dan, I do listen to the radio.

Ok so what's the format for 94.7? still a/c ..cause I just checked 94.9 and it's still praise....

Nope the preaching is from WCRV Collierville,TN (Memphis) which is a 50kw blowtorch during the day (and can be heard best around sunset before they cut the power back to 480 watts) http://www.bottradionetwork.com

Only thing out of KTIB has been a dead carrier around Thibodaux for a few days in the past month or so and a extended STA... (I know the station van has been sitting in the same spot on the bayouside for about the past 2? years now)

All I do know on it, is the ownership question is still headed through the courts.. Vincent Bruno vs. Michael Starr and others

the religious group that was supposed to buy it had stated that they planned on doing local/regional news/talk on the station. However, who you speak to depends upon if they buy.... One of the local newspapers said the company didn't want to get involved now that the ownership is clearly torn, whereas listening to Michael Starr, this thing would be sold soon.

Sorry But the way it was worded (thinking it was a second part of a bigger prediction) made me think (as well as others) that both were gonna change with seperate formats (fits with some people flipping for the new year).. Had to go back to the original to see it was down a ways on the list...

Dowdy's 106.1 sounded real good then (when I've been on the north shore) and I hope the lake does as well...

Arthur-
If you reread my post you will see that I make no comment on your Praise vs Lake prediction when I referred to you as delusional. I only made comment to what was happening at Citadel - and we all know that Praise was sold many moons ago.... So with that I still say you are off base with your New Orleans predictions concerning the Citadel side of things... Anyway even Miss Cleo & her psychic hotline got something right once in a while - law of averages... get a 50% correct ratio and I will detract my "delusional" comment.
