1)Coastal Television Group closed on the sale of the Red River Broadcasting Fox stations. (KVRR/KJRR/KNRR/KBRR)
Will be interesting to see what they do with the stations, they've had minimal subchannels so far. I don't know how their news department compares to the other stations in the Fargo market. With the four stations they do reach some areas OTA that Forum and Gray don't with their signals.
The people in the more rural areas could have benefitted from selling to Forum if the FCC would have approved that sale, if Forum would have put ABC on a subchannel of KJRR (Jamestown). I could have seen them putting Fox on a subchannel of WDAZ and shutting down/selling off KNRR too. We'll never know how that would have turned out.
2)Follow-up to a previous thread, KCPM in Grand Forks was ultimately bought by BEK who have their sports channels and news channel on there now. They changed the call sign to KNGF.

The sale of the FOX affiliates in Duluth and Fargo has closed. Meanwhile, the FCC has granted two new low-power FM stations in western North Dakota.
