Now that it has been 2 weeks almost what do you all think of the new wlrs?

Kinda the same thing when a new televison show isn't doing well"tv guide says this is the greatest show since sliced bread or whatever" or they say"the critics say it is the best new show your not watchng aka arrested development" They say this and that to get people to watch. But isn't selling it the same thing as tv who cares if you are tv show number 107 like buffy was which i loved but as long as the advertisers can hit there target demo same with radio you can get olw overall numbers but as long as you get the all important target demo i guess thats all you want.

By the way what do you think of www.indie1031.com it is by far my favorite station anywhere.
 
indie103.1 is OK.

And, you just proved my point: a critically-acclaimed radio station, hailed by many in the music community as the *best thing since sliced bread* and in the key adult demo they're like #39 in L.A. A hit with the critics, music community and radio geeks and a total 100% mutt with almost all L.A. radio listeners.

a couple of reasons. Probably first, no takers. It's a class A in Santa Monica and has little hope of much signal improvement. Secondly, it's an experimental deal where they put almost nothing into operating it, thus expecting little revenue out of it. It's a loss-leader plus they get a lot of free pub becuz the record/music community loves them. Problem is, those supporters rarely get Arb diaries.
