Now that Lewis is out, will the MDA telethon still air on Philly TV this year?

Will WPHL or another Philly TV station still air the MDA telethon live this year, now that Jerry Lewis is out as chairman of the MDA?

Julius, I wondered that myself. When I went to telethon.mda.org, the station list was missing.

I have to admit, however, the telethon won't be the same without Jerry.

Let's hope MDA reconsiders its decision and allows Jerry to say godbye..if not, let's see how much they DON'T raise this year.

I was surprised to hear they raised 5 percent more than last year even though they cut the hours of the telethon and Jerry was missing. I thought it would be funny and a good publicity stunt to have Jerry try to get on stage and then escorted out by security guards even if he was not the host. Here is a news clip on the telethons status with Jerry Lewis......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NasrkLGesFo
