Now that the Cowgirls season is over...

"I actually found Jagger quite refreshing in that extended role. Let's be honest, as many that rant on this board about it, it's Jagger's crew that keeps him down. He himself has quite an extensive resume that includes national programming- TV and radio. So CBS would be smart to keep him around with his versatility."

A few years a go he was on a national show with Dr. Judy. Love Phones, I think it was called.

I just heard a promo on The Fan saying, "We used to be #3, now we're #2". *Sounds to me like things are looking up at The Fan!

Here are the ratings for December.
Ticket: 6.6 share (No. 2 in the entire market behind Hispanic juggernaut KLNO).
ESPN 103.3: 2.7 (No. 16)
The Fan 105.3: 2.1 (No. 24)

So according to these numbers The Ticket is No. 1, ESPN 103.3 is No. 2 and The Fan is No. 3. Nice try Fan.

Those are the M25-54 numbers. The folks kind enough to post the PPM numbers regularly have sometimes posted the 18-34 numbers in the past. In November, if I recall, KTCK, KESN, and KRLD-FM were fairly close together -- that "young people not tuning to the AM dial" thing had KTCK down in KESN and KRLD-FM's level in that demo. No one posted the December 18-34 numbers, but if KRLD-FM passed KESN in that group, that may be where the claim is coming from. Or they are talking about the 12-1PM hour...the only shift KRLD-FM bested KESN according to http://sportsmediablog.dallasnews.com/archives/2010/01/radio-daze-december-ratings-ju.html.

It's seldom that even one of the Dallas sports stations finishes in the top 10 for men 18-34. If that's the source of 105.3's claim, then it's not saying much.
