Now this is interesting...world premiere of Justin Bieber's new single on V-103

Apparently V-103 in Atlanta has aired the world premiere of the new song off Justin Bieber's Christmas album on Ryan Cameron's show. The single is named "Christmas Eve" it was written by Bieber and Chris Brown.

An urban contemporary station premiered a song by a major pop/mainstream artist, but it is the #1 urban station in the nation, known for playing mainstream crossover hits, and CBS's urban/rhythmic division flagship station. It's looks V-103 and Ryan Cameron beat out KISS-FM L.A. and Ryan Seacrest at his own game of premiering new music from major pop artists.

CBS, Reggie Rouse, and Kathy Brown aren't playing when they say are #1 at getting new music on V.

Not too surprised about this. after all, they once played "baby" by Justin Bieber ft Ludacris. Not only was it a pop artist they were playing, but that "baby" song had a booty bass style production sound that borderlined somewhat heavily with modern freestyle elements. As a matter of fact, a west coast freestyle producer even updated his facebook status in disbelief regarding Justin Bieber's "baby", saying "That's a straight up freestyle production!"

So, if V103 played that, then a Justin Bieber ft Chris Brown track does not shock me at all. Justin Bieber would actually have to release a pure drum & bass record and get it played on V103 before I'd feel any level of shock.

i cant see radio-one playing it on hot 107.9 but you never know they may be forced to play it now

It's very possible. In the last few years, V-103 has already forced Hot 107.9, Majic, and Kiss 104.1 to play more contemporary R&B after nearly being all of them 2 to 1 in ratings when PPM came into the Atlanta market.
