Here we go this time Twitter sues Microsoft.
I'm going to sue Musk because he doesn't advertise on my station. That's how crazy this is.
Here we go this time Twitter sues Microsoft.
This is the issue here with Elon Musk we keep running into lawsuit threats this time coming from Twitter.I'm going to sue Musk because he doesn't advertise on my station. That's how crazy this is.
I'm going to sue Musk because I don't like him! And then I'll sue myself for suing Musk because I don't like myself not liking him!!I'm going to sue Musk because he doesn't advertise on my station. That's how crazy this is.
Also the way Elon Musk went after NPR, PBS, CBC and their affiliates is crazy.I'm going to sue Musk because I don't like him! And then I'll sue myself for suing Musk because I don't like myself not liking him!!
I totally agree! This is pure craziness!
Now he's not only one of the richest man in the world, but he's also one of the world's litigious!
I thoroughly expect that, at some point, Musk will issue an announcement that he will be merging what's left of Twitter with Trump's Truth Social platform, and thus complete his dramatic transformation from eccentric Silicon Valley genius to off-the-scale far right, anti-Media MAGA zealot.
Next you know, someone somewhere will leverage some kind of loophole or cook up some sort of plan to enable him to be installed as President (for example, while he can't properly run for President because he's a South African immigrant, he can run for Congress, where he could install himself as the Speaker of the House of Representatives (third in the presidential line of succession), somehow bully the duly elected president and vice president into resigning, then declare himself King of The Universe (seriously, he has a case of megalomania so severe that he makes even Trump seem selfless)).
The world is doomed if anything like that ever happens....

Like someone else said, he’s a bully and has bullied media groups off of his platform. Also the way Elon Musk went after NPR, PBS, CBC and their affiliates is crazy.
His playbook is like how Mike Lindell rants about Smartmatic and Dominion but in this case Musk is going after Public Media Outlets for some reason and the media outlets that are really covering Elon Musk extensively is AP and Reuters.
So far we seen Elon Musk's companies Tesla, Dogecoin, and Twitter getting sued for reasons surrounding Musk directly but no proof that Reuters, AP, NPR, PBS, CBC and their affiliates committed defamation directly.
Wow, talk about conspiracy theories. This one's on steroids!I'm going to sue Musk because I don't like him! And then I'll sue myself for suing Musk because I don't like myself not liking him!!
I totally agree! This is pure craziness!

Elon Musk's Starship explodes minutes after first test flight's liftoff

A disaster hits SpaceX another Elon Musk connected company.
Elon Musk’s Twitter on Thursday began a purge of blue verification check marks from users who have not signed up for its subscription service, with the checks disappearing from the accounts of journalists, academics and celebrities.
The blue checks even disappeared from the accounts of some of the most well-known and widely followed people on the social network, including Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, Bill Gates, Pope Francis, former president Donald Trump and Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.
Some government agencies — including the official account for US Citizenship and Immigration Services and accounts for some state Customs and Border Patrol offices — also lost their blue checks, which weren’t immediately replaced by the gray checks Twitter has designated for government accounts.
The initial rollout of the change appeared to be fairly glitchy, as blue checks disappeared and reappeared on some accounts. Some other high-profile legacy verified accounts also didn’t seem to lose their checks, at least at first.
Now the Blue Check is being removed.
Except one must now pay $8/month to have one. It sort of defeats the purpose, since anyone can presumably pay to get one for any account for almost any reason.BTW the blue checks still exist at Facebook.
They had no choice but to activate the Flight Termination System (shaped charge-explosives), when the second stage wouldn't decouple from the first (booster) stage. When studying the slow motion footage; it appeared that around :30 into the launch, one of the outer rim booster engines had a catastrophic failure (RUD), which likely damaged the vehicle hydraulics system. With no hydraulics to disconnect the coupling clamps between the first and second stage, and the booster engines shutting down as scheduled, the entire ship started to tumble. SpaceX had no choice but to terminate the flight, first by triggering the FTS on the booster, then shortly after, the second stage FTS was initiated. Not a disaster.
Rapid unscheduled disassembly. Rockets are inherently difficult to do.
When you think about it, does it really matter? Twitter is losing it's legitimacy status already. Which is worse?Pope loses Twitter Verified status, among others
