Since Omaha already has a local NPR outlet not affiliated with NPN (KIOS at 91.5 mHz), I believe the situation in that city will be analogous to that faced by Atlanta when GPB moved in to challenge local NPR outlet WABE.

Quite possibly. From what I can tell, it will be different from what Nebraska Public Media offers on its existing network of stations. I don't know if programs like Morning Edition and All Things Considered require market exclusivity, though I seem to remember both of them offering more opportunities for local inserts into their programming than your typical commercial radio talk shows. KIOS, though, looks like it carries pretty much the same standard lineup the Nebraska Public Media stations carry. Nebraska Public Media also would seem to offer classical or jazz music in the afterhours on its other stations.
Keg was officially tapped out as of 4 p.m. Tuesday. Ended with a song that frequency all knows too well from a station of the past: REM’s “It’s the End of the World.”
