Obit: Alexander Anderson, Jr. at 90...Creator of "Rocky & Bullwinkle"

Re: Obit: Alexander Anderson, Jr. at 90...Creator of "Rocky & Bullwinkle"

My father worked for Jay Ward during the 60s and 70s - his favorite job ever. He was fond of Alex Anderson, who (I think) always lived in the Bay Area, but flew to LA often. Jay Ward studios were on the Sunset Strip. Anderson must have been one of the last survivors of that era - Ward (d. '89), Bill Scott (d.'85), and my father (d.'96), among others, are long gone. Animator Gerard Baldwin lives on in retirement, but he was the youngest of that group of creative people.

One note on the lawsuit Anderson won against "Jay Ward Productions" - I believe that by that time (mid 90s), the studio name and all of the characters and copyrights were owned by Disney.
