Obit: Bob Arbogast at 81: radio personality & a voice on "Roger Ramjet" cartoons

Arbogast started in Tucson and Kansas City and through the 50's and 60's was at WMAQ-AM in Chicago then to Los Angeles after stints at KSFO-AM and KFRC-AM in San Francisco. He also worked at KMPC-AM, KLAC-AM and later KFI-AM and KGBS-AM.

He was the voice of General Brassbottom on "Roger Ramjet" as well as other characters on many Saturday morning cartoons.

If I remember correctly, Arbogast and Margolis were on LA radio in the late 60s. I seem to remember they replaced Lohman and Barkley...on KLAC, I think. They were funny, but not as sharp as L&B, who were a tough act to follow.
