Obit: Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. ("77 Sunset Strip," "The F.B.I."), 95

Got his ticket to glory and he is rocking on at home now. Loved him the aforementioned, and when he sat in his chair and read Bible stories.

I seem to recall that in the late '70s and early '80s he was a frequent guest on "The 700 Club." I don't know at what point he embraced fundamentalist religion.

Truthfully, I do not know whether it was The 700 Club or whether he had his own spot. I never saw him preach or teach; I just know he was in that comfy chair, reading from the Bible, and it was always good news. Safe to say that he has his own spot now, and he's sharing a nicer "Chair."

You know about how dependable online information is, but I'd read that he was a regular on TBN until the last few years, when he'd returned to the Episcopal church. Again, I don't know how reliable that info is, but I do remember having seen clips of him on TBN.
