OBIT: Eugene Ostroski aka Gene Orland age 82 Formerly of WHAY/910 AM

Eugene Ostroski better known as Gene Orland died July 30 at the age of 82. Orland hosted the morning show on WHAY/WRCH 910 AM and later hosted a Polka show on the same station. He also worked for Channel 30. For the past 6 years or so he's been co-hosting Patti-Ann's Polka Happiness Show on WXCT 990 AM along with helping out with Ed Henry's Polka Show on WMRD 1150 AM. A special write-up about him appears in today's Hartford Coruant on Page H-2 in the Extraordinary Life collumn.
