Obit: Frankie Abernathy, 25, of 'Real World' was suffering from cystic fibrosis

Frankie Abernathy, who starred in MTV's "Real World: San Diego" in 2004, died Sunday at her mother's home in Shorewood, Wisc. She was 25.
Although an official cause of death has not been determined, Abernathy suffered from cystic fibrosis, according to MTV News, and was diagnosed with the disease at age 3, said her mother, Abbie Hunter.

And don't forget Pedro Zamora from The Real World's 2nd season (in San Francisco) wayyyyyy back in 1994. He was openly gay and died at the age of 22 from various complications of AIDS.

Pedro died on November 11, 1994, the day after the final episode of TRW:San Fransico aired.
