Obit: Jim Nayder at 59; host of public radio's 'Annoying Music Show'

Dr. D is more the novelty record man and he calls the music he plays "demented," which is not "annoying." Nayder would only play Weird Al if Weird Al had recorded a straight cover of, say "Just the Way You Are" (either the Billy Joel or Bruno Mars song). Nayder's specialty for this weekly three minutes was more the inappropriate cover of a contemporary (as in 60s onward) pop or rock song, especially if a celebrity was involved.
