OBIT: Jim Perry, "Card Sharks" and "Sale of the Century" game show host, age 82

We have lost another game show legend tonight. Jim Perry has passed away, he was 82 years old. Jim was the first host of Card Sharks (when it aired on NBC) from 1978-1981, and hosted both the NBC and syndicated runs of $ale of the Century, which aired from 1983-1989. Jim died of cancer at his home in Eagle Point, OR. He will be missed!

The Jim Perry-era Card Sharks air on the diginet Buzzr weekday mornings at 7:30am ET (three shows) and at 10:00pm ET and 1:00am ET (two shows each) weekday evenings, according to the schedule posted at the channel's website.
