John Patrick Griffin, father of comedian Kathy Griffin who appeared on several TV shows with his daughter, died Feb. 17 in Los Angeles, Calif. He was 91.
Late in life, Griffin embarked on a new career in acting, appearing in four episodes of "Suddenly Susan"(as "Gus") with daughter Kathy, doing a number of commercials, and, along with his wife, appearing in Kathy Griffin's Bravo reality show "My Life on the D List."
