Obit: Stage & radio comedian Wonderful Smith at 97

According to the L.A. Times, Smith was one of the few African Americans who worked as a disc jockey for the Armed Forces Radio Service during WWII.
Smith was hired as a cast member as a cook on Red Skelton's radio show in 1941. He also had scene as a janitor in the 1984 film “This Is Spinal Tap.”
