Thanks. Always look forward to your posting of ratings.
A much better listing with 6 month's history and more accurate format descriptors is at:

Those of us who have that data are not allowed to release it. It is subscriber only.

Any idea of how the Bay Area morning shows ranked this month?

KDFC in the top 10 for both San Francisco and San Jose. Never would have believed that. And out of curiosity how is KUSC managing to showi up in San Francisco?

AM Drive Ranker 25-54
KLLC
KQED
KCBS AM & FM
KMVQ
KIOT
KSAN
KSOL
KIOI
KNBR AM & FM
KOSF
KYLD

While there are two AM/FM combos, the first pure AM is KGO at #29! And it is tied with KZNB, an AM in Petaluma that does Spanish language Adult hits.

"Why not?"

I happen to like the 'middle ages top 40'. There have been several postings that classical music is dying and the number of classical music stations is declining. To see a classical music station in the top 10 came as quite a surprise. KDFC is my station of choice when I am in the Bay area.

In 25-54, KDFC is 27th. It moves up to 19th in 35-64. In 65+ it is 4th.

While older audience does not necessarily affect a public-support maintained station per se, it does indicated that most of the listeners are seniors and that support will wane as years go by.

I know we are working from the 6+ numbers which really don't mean an awful lot. But David with the numbers you just quoted, unless the sample is heavily skewed 65+ I am not sure statistically how KDFC can end up in the top 10

What has happen to KSFO? I remember it was in the mid 2.0-2.5 range. It really has fallen in deep.
The death of Rush Limbaugh is the reason. I guess Don Bongino is not cutting it here in the bay area.
