Anyone notice that alot of OLD TV shows have really been getting alot more airplay on Piedmont Triad TV/Cable as of late??? Our local CW station has picked up reruns of "Hawaii-Five-O" (1960`s-1970`s) to run in the afternoon. The new WGHP-TV 8.2 has a lineup of mostly 1950`s-1970`s classic TV Shows. On cable, there is currently a 24-Hour Marathon of "The Little Rascals" going on. In the past few days, long Marathons of "The Twilight Zone","Benny Hill", Three Stooges", etc. have been shown. Early weekday Mornings, WXII-TV 12.2 shows episodes of "Highway Patrol", "Patty Duke Show", "Mr. Ed", "Sea Hunt", etc... Mega episodes of "I Love Lucy" have also popped up in the Mornings lately. Last night, I was watching episodes of "Lost In Space" and "Big Valley" on Time Warner Cable. Very interesting that alot of the old classics not seen in many years have popped back up again recently! I guess folks are tired of all the reality TV crap.

You got that right!, when are the over-the-air and cable networks going to learn viewers are sick of shows that
constantly use lewd stuff to brainwash viewers that it's OK to live that way, i refuse to watch much television
these days because of that, so hats of to people like "Antenna TV", "ME-TV", and yes, even the "Retro Television
Network" for bringing back programs we remember and during a time when you didn't have to worry about being
offended by things not suitable for viewing.

Yes, nobody can deny how these older better shows are popping up EVERYWHERE!!! Today`s batch of new TV shows have been terrible! Folks are desperate for more "family" programs! Good to see these shows coming back everywhere!! Even saw "The Waltons" on a Time-Warner Channel last night!

I watched "V" on ABC last night and had watched the three prevuious episodes and think it's a pretty good series!

Well, if you notice, Sci-Fi Channel is rerunning the 1983 version of "V' to DEATH....

Just check all the TV listings and COUNT all of the older shows on!

Paid Programming is a WHOLE different ball of wax.... Come now!!

The TV listings are fraught with PAID PROGRAMMING.
Oh, the difference must be that you don't get het up about infomercials.
Just great oldies, and
DYN-O-MITE!
