OLDIES RADIO LIKE YOU REMEMBER THE GOLDEN AGE OF TOP 40

Indeed, I must turn up the wave volume, the winamp volume, and the winamp pre-amp volume to maximum before the "hardware"
volume seems to respond normally. There's too many zeros in this bitstream on a per-word basis. Fill them up with more audio.
I'd like to listen to this stream, but the bitrate still is an issue. I will say that at least, there are no horrifying artifacts to grate on the eardrums. You are restricting high frequencies properly given your stream bitrate. I like the reverb, I love the old spots, and the public service announcements.
I just wish there were some way to make it sound like a real AM radio station of the 60's on 60's equipment.

Takes guts to play "Patches", glad you got 'em. Ooops, there was a glitch. missed a few syllables near the end of Patches.
Keep it up. The stereo is good, even if somewhat incongrous with the bitrate. Reverb is great, but would stand out even better with
a higher bitrate.
This seems like a REALLY GOOD landline (unbalanced) telephone audio recording.
Hiow much more would it cost for a 128k stream, which still garbles a bit but is almost "transparent'?

"Drag City is not a forgotten oldie", for someone who has always had old '60's and '70's cars.
I play it on AM 1620, too.
