One of KGLK's former calls is now a Minneapolis Top-40 Station.

And that happens to be KHTC, which was known here as K-Hits before it became The Eagle just after Dean & Roger's arrival at the station. The City of Minneapolis has just flipped its only R & B Station to go head to head with longtime Top 40 station over there in the Twin Cities, KDWB. That station, formerly known as The Beat is Now called 96-3, Now-FM.

That's Ironic because KLDE now stands for either oLDiEs or EL Dorado, the city which the station is now based. The first three letters are jumbled, however.
