For those unfamiliar, a number of internet models and porn actors (both amateur and well-known) had OnlyFans pages, as it seemed to be relatively simple for them to post content, people who wanted to see their videos and other postings paid a monthly subscription to do so and could also send one time "tips". OnlyFans kept 20% of the $$, while those uploading the content got the rest. It was an easy way for even amateur models with basic equipment to create and upload videos, for instance, and make money almost immediately from them. Certainly easier, faster and more lucrative for some than trying to get a contract with a major studio.
