opinions on the New Pornographers Challenger album

Any opinions on the New Pornographers new album Challenger?
 
???Why has no one responded to this thread? Oh Well...
I love the new album. Of course I love all of their albums as well as the AC Newman solo record. Challengers is not as flashy or upbeat as the previous records but it is still very good, it just takes a few more listens to get into it.
 
I also am dismayed at the long period of no responses to this thread. Im glad that finally somebody has spoken. It is less catchy but I agree that it's still very good. I know this sounds like a cliched buzzword for being more commercial but the NPS have become more mature and refined.
