Does anyone know what the MLB rules are regarding radio broadcasts of out-of-market teams?
I've always wondered if 790 (and before that, 550) needed to get some sort of waiver or special permission from the Boston Red Sox to allow New York Yankees games to air on radio in Metro-Providence......OR......Is Providence far enough away from Fenway Park that it doesn't matter?
Just as a side-note......Some of the older folks here with really long L-O-N-G memories might remember that for a time in the mid-1960's, Channel 6 had carried New York Mets baseball on a limited basis (usually just Saturday and Sunday games).
