3 need to go, because only one is probably making budget.

If I had pick one to change formats I would go with 102.5.. It's nothing more than a placeholder jukebox to keep the signal warm while WHIZ Media Group tries to sale it. (some of the songs played don't even have segues set so you get breif dead air between elements).
In my opinion, 102.5 is probably the best. Sure they have their faults of dead air periodically, but it's nice to listen to all day long. Hardly any commercials, you don't hear the same new songs every hour like 92.3, and unlike 95.5, you don't hear the same old songs day in and day out. Both 92.3 and 95.5 need to work together to put one station together that plays everything, which is what 102.5 does. It's not often you hear a country station go from playing Johnny Cash to Dierks Bentley back to back. People just listen to 92.3 because they really don't look for anything else, and it has the best signal. The people who do look, land on 95.5 and end up going back to 92.3 because of the same old songs and too many commercials. I'm 22 years old and should like 92.3 over them all. But I hate them. I hate Clear Channel, and I dislike 95.5 because of the same old crap they always play. I won't even get into 107.1. You can't hear them much past Dublin and it's all new "country." 100.3 is pretty good but still too cookie cutter for me. If you leave Columbus and listen to other country stations, they sound a lot like 102.5.

That's true. Probably the only thing keeping radio alive is the fact that people listen to it when they drive around in thier cars. As soon as they find a way to get internet radio or something in your dashboard, that is it for radio. I wouldn't expect this market or any other to get better never if they keep on losing fans along the way.
I think the 107.1 should be the one to change formats, because it is the lowest rated one. I don't care it changes to, as long as it is not some other type of country.
I agree with xmusicmatt. 102.5 should be the one to change (TO SOMETHING THAT'S NOT IN COLUMBUS ALREADY) because it's the best signal, and it would be nice to see something new on a good signal. Like maybe one of the country's top formats that are on good signals everywhere else but on a pea-shooter here. As it is, 3 excellent-to-decent signals are being wasted on one friggin format.
WCOL and WHOK will stay the same. WCLT plays the game all by itself (for now) because of excellent diary placement in Licking County. It will be very interesting to see if that changes with PPM. The other two are taking up space and electricity. The only way that 107.1 will ever prosper is that someone is smart enough to pair it up with 107.9 in a simulcast. I also believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny but I'm not holding my breath in this environment for even a remote possibility of that happening . A 1.2 12+ for Wink is all you can really expect out of that type of signal, so the powers to be must be elated.

forget country ni#$%! when are we going to have 5 hip hop stations. or 2 hip hop station. not fair how come y'all get to have mulitple station and urban music listeners get one!

I can't get in Power 107.5 from where I'm at, but last time I heard, it sounded more like top-40 pop music station then anything. Does that station even qualify to be a hip-hop and R&B station like they are saying they are?
