Station budgets are tight, and outside marketing is one of the first things cut. I'm starting this thread to keep track of what New York City radio stations do to market themselves off-air in this economic climate. So if you get a direct mail piece, see a TV spot, spot a transit ad, etc., post a description here. Let's see which companies consider outside marketing important enough to set aside the bucks it takes to do it in market number one...and how they stretch those marketing dollars.

Three Now artists are pictured, 10,000 songs in a row mentioned in the slug line (wonder how long we'll see that in these ads once 92.3 Now has finished the 10K song marathon?). Seen on subway cars and at subway stations, probably more places. First sighting of them this week.
