YSP is opening up the rock gates and fwih they are going to keep getting better music wise. Its great to hear Pantera on the airwaves once again, I am saddened by the female coming on board when Mr. Lario should hold down a full time slot where he is filling in now..Look for Twisted, Y&T, Danzig and other hard rockers making the audio scene in the near future. I also heard a rumor about 106.1 making a switch to oldies dont know if its true if anyone can confirm this....by spring....

Hopefully, CC will wise up and put rhythmic music where it belongs.... IN THE GARBAGE! They're off to a good start with 104.5.
 
Wait you said KISS? Please tell me something else by Kiss besides Rock and Roll All Nite is being played on a Philadelphia radio staion. Call Guiness... :eek:

Bob Pantera is on 94 YSP? And playing rock? WOW!, what's next?
 
I don't think 106.1 will flip to anything just yet, but I have noticed a few 60s-era Motown tracks on their playlist here and there (Temptations and Supremes). Perhaps an evolution to a Jammin' Gold -type format rather than a total flip?

How does the new evening guy on 94.1 sound? I haven't had a chance to listen yet.

This girl at work controls the radio, so its her choice (so much for democracy). She plays said horrible radio station. In between wretching, I had noticed 106 mixing in more ROCK and 80s non-rhythmic pop.

Rob: "Milton, hi, uh, could you turn that down just a bit?"
Milton: "Well, I-I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from 9:00 to 11:00..."
Rob: "Yeah, no, no, I know you're allowed to. I uh-- I was just thinking maybe like, you know, a personal favor, you--"
Milton: "Well, I-I told Bill that if-if Sandra's going to listen to her headphones while she's-- while she's filing, then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating. I don't see why..."
Rob: "Okay."
Milton: "...I should have to turn down the radio..."
