Party 93.1 Las Vegas Now Known As All The Hits 93.1

I'm surprised they don't use a generic CC name like Radio Now, Channel or Kiss.
That's a really awkward station name - "All The Hits 93.1"? Sounds more like a tagline...

NOW/Vegas has two jocks now. afternons and nights.
My guess is KPLV would be using the NOW name if it wasn't taken already.
4 way CHR race is fun. Two pops that play lot's of ryhthmic (KFRH, KPLV), a rhythmic that plays lot's of pop (KLUC) and a rhythmic that plays some pop like Katy Perry (KVEG).
Party is typically a good CHR name, but it seems like the Party name and station ran its course in the Vegas market. Even as a somewhat regular visitor from LA, I associated Party with rhythmic AC, so they probably needed to ditch the name. With that said, "All the Hits" is a terribly stupid name, though.

They should've gone with Channel 9-3-1, "All the Hits" is better as a slogan. The station doesn't sound any different, it sounds exactly the same as before.

KFRH is pretty adult-leaning - I definitely wouldn't say it plays "lots of rhythmic," especially with Matt Nathanson in heavy rotation

KFRH had "Party Rock Anthem" as their #1 played song back when other stations were just starting to add it. That's not an especially adult song. They play some good rhythmic pop that I don't hear elsewhere such as "Girl Talk".

I'd say the station is broad-based and new music friendly.

Vegas already has a Hot- at 97.5. Otherwise, I would vote for Hot.
I'd call it B 93 "Hit Music Now"

Yes CC owned 101.9 for several years (including when it was KISS and WILD) but was forced to sell it when Bain Capital bought CC. IIRC because Bain owns a small % of Univision the GOV forced them to sell Spanish stations in markets where Univision exists.

PD Jeff Jacot and the GM at the time. They wanted something original instead of KISS or HOT...from an interview I read. They wanted people to think of the station anytime they saw OMG on the internet.
