PBA Bowling and Fox Sports have a broadcast deal for 2019

When I had COX we got ESPN, ESPN2, 4 RSNs - Yes Network NESN SNY Comcast Sports Network New England, Fox Sports 1, NBC Sports Network, but I don't think we got CBS Sports Network or Fox Sports 2.

When we switched to DirecTV Mom got a bare bones package and the only sports network we got was MAVTV. However since right around the time of The Super Bowl now also get the NFL Network. If it's a free-preview the didn't notify us of it.
 
The PBA went through a lot of 'corporate restructuring', first around the turn of the milennium(relocating to Seattle, and finally transistioning away from OTA TV to cable-only)and later due to the late-2000s financial meltdown(which resulted in the current setup, where multiple events are held at a handful of locations, with telecasts delayed for weeks or months.)
IMO, the tour has had a rather chintzy, amateurish feel to it over the last decade or more, and, with events taking place so far in advance of the telecast, it has made pro bowling feel more like 'sports entertainment'.
This Fox Sports deal will make room for both continuing the current format, for some tournaments, and going back to live coverage for others. It appears that most events will air in the evenings, rather than being buried opposite NFL games.
 
They'd be better off back in St. Louis. The PBA is still with us, and considering the changes to the sport, this itself is remarkable. I'm really glad there still is a professional tour and that at least some of it will be on broadcast TV again.

On Cox CBS Sports Network on 135, FS2 on 141.
