Performers that you don't like, even though you agree with their politics

OK, Barbra Streisand. Too much over the top. And her current husband James Brolin. I haven't liked him since Mucus Welby. And besides, how could anyone leave Bailey?

Tim Robbins. Ever since Bull Durham I haven't liked.

George Clooney. Just because he's pretty doesn't mean he's smart. He's sort of left's answer to Sarah Pailin. I liked his aunt, though.

Joy and Whoopi. Somebody says something they don't agree with and they throw a hissy fit and walk out in the middle of a show.

Dan Rather. A ego maniac and backstabber. Pushed out Uncle Walter.

Bud Selig. Destroying baseball to feed owners' greed. Interleague play. Wild cards. Dubya would have made a better commissioner (and being commissioner would have kept him out of the White House).

Sara Jessica Parker. Best rack on Sex and the City and she's the only one who wouldn't take her top off.

I think it was in 2006 that George's father Nick, a Democrat, ran for Congress in a heavily-Republican district in northern Kentucky. From what I understand (somebody from the Cincinnati area can correct me on this), Nick was counting on George to come into the area and really talk up his dad. I don't think that happened. Nick was beaten pretty soundly. BTW, you remind me of my dad in what you say about Rosemary Clooney; he still talks about how good-looking he always thought she was.

Speaking of my dad, there's one performer he doesn't like because of his politics, and that's George Stephanopoulos. He calls him a "turncoat" for leaving the Clinton administration and will not watch ABC News because of him.

Obviously, although he is Conservative, I cannot abide Mel Gibson due to all of the
antisemitic stuff.

Bruce Willis is supposedly a Conservative, but he got himself a reputation as a
first-class jerk while filming a movie here in Pittsburgh fifteen years ago.

Also have some issues with Harrison Ford as he claims to be (like Newt Gingrich)
a Conservative wife-dumper, which is a bit of an oxymoron.

This was my topic, and I forgot to weigh in with my own choices:

The Palins, and their extended family. Sarah Palin has now parlayed her popularity into yet another reality show, Sarah Palin's Alaska on TLC. Meanwhile, Bristol is on Dancing with the Stars. And her goof of a former boyfriend, Levi Johnston is trying to continue his own 15 minutes of fame with a reality show about running for mayor of Wasilla! ::) Maybe he can see cancellation from his house! ::)

Levi Johnston is so vapid that he makes the Kardashians seem intelligent by comparison! ::)
