I think you havent listened to Al Franken at all....Al is a very intelligent host and he provides a littany of guests who offer insights on several points...I wouldnt call Al liberal.....but hes more of a left-leaning centrist....which is fine here....Al also (unlike most conservative hosts) reaches out regularly to the right and just on Thursday and Friday of last week....had on his "Just Ribbin" segment where he lets a friend he knows take the mike around in a rib joint when his friend visit red states/conservative locations...then he speaks and has discussions with conservatives on all sorts of issues....
He has also had a simulcast with G. Gordon Liddy where they joined each other on their respective shows took calls and met the audiences on each side..no conservative has even tried that
He broadcast from a Conservative forum in DC and had several conservative guests including allowing the repprehensible Brent Bozell on for a dialogue....I don't like Bozell but Al was able to show his reach out ability...
Hes had several other conservatives on....so im pretty confident you havent listened to his show...he keeps a lot of interesting things going on.....and is very entertaining...
last note...alan colmes is no liberal and because of his choice to endure getting treated as Hannity lap dog....most democrats/liberals choose to ignore him....thats why his name is always typed colmes - solmes admitted on Al Franken's show that he cannot disagree with Hannity on the show...what the heck is that? Is Hannity suck a wuss that he can't even take on colmes....this shows the basic dishonesty on this show...
