PGA to merge with Saudi-backed LIV Golf

In the Coachella Valley there are approximately 120 golf courses. Some are private, member only. Some are private but also sell tee times to the public. Others are public, owned by the individual cities in the valley.
A lot of "country clubs" do sell access, even if they are listed as "private".
The biggest issue is the cost. Where I live we overlook a course; there is daily maintenance in the hour after "first light" where greens are all inspected and any needed trimming is done. And that is 7 days a week, except for Christmas and a couple of other holidays.
PGA Tour, LIV, Saudis invited to Senate hearing
The PGA Tour, LIV and the Saudi Public Investment Fund have all been invited to testify at a Senate hearing looking into their merger.
PGA and LIV leaders are to appear in a Senate Hearing.

The big news in the hearings was that part of the merger was that Greg Norman would be dropped as LIV Commissioner.
