RFF is absolutely KILLING it! 2nd in their main demo, 4th 25-54, and top 10 among 35-64. Alt-rockers everywhere take notice.

someones got to go after Radio 104.5 with a harder sound sometimes radio 104.5 sounds too soft
mabye this is something for 97.5 too look into but does greater media want too risk Hurting 93.3 wmmr ?

I don't know why that's a value arguement, if MGK doesn't hurt MMR why would a Hard Alt Rock hurt MMR? As I recently learned, MMR's listeners prefer the classic rock they play over the newer rock. They don't play nearly enough newer rock. Also, never ever alt rock. This is why 97.5 (or 95.7 if the bottom line there is worse) could give it a shot with a alt rocker like WHFS in Baltimore. That's exactly what's needed.

But I completely agree, someone needs to try to go after 1045 with a harder alt rock format. RFF is too soft for me.

So the business proposition there is to take some fraction of WOGL's audience by doing essentially what they're already doing? Right now, you're already getting probably a similar number to what you can peel away from 98 (on the optimistic side).

There's a big difference between WOGL and WSOX. WOGL plays way too much Soul/Motown music. WSOX's mixture of music is different than WOGL's. Similar formats, different outcomes. Kind of like listening to Talk Radio, Limbaugh is conservative talk, so is Dom Giordono both air on WPHT, both are conservative, but but you get a different outcome from listening to each.
