Dan Gross makes reference of the error today:

Anchor Joyce Evans pronounced Hy Lit as "high light," several times while reporting the radio legend's death Saturday night. Several viewers let us know they were surprised at the blunder...
 
I think I called for Joyce Evans and anyone associated wth the error to be fired. I retract that. I doubt Hyski would want anyone fired due to the error in question on TV29.
 
My condolences to sam. I grew up listening to HY and the WIBG good guys on my little transistor radio. then WRCP, WPGR and WOGL. the listening pleasure that he provided will never be forgotten.
