That's strange - at least for the first few innings while I was at work today, I had on WNPV and the woman in the next cubicle had on the Big Yacker and WNPV was about 5 seconds ahead - I could hear it repeat over the cubicle wall, and she would cheer (or more often groan) about 5 seconds after I heard the play called.

AM radio listening at work? WOW - you must sit near windows.

Sure enough - my cube borders a window, making me the "designated game listener." Those with more interior desks either had to follow online or see me for updates. The company I work for just moved into new digs in July, and I made it a point to set up my listening device as close to the window and as far from the computer as possible. I had no idea doing so was going to be necessary for a Phils playoff run, but it's nice to see it has gotten to that point. Not so nice - being in a 0-1 series hole.

I'm in a corridor pretty far from windows in my office, but about 8 miles from the WNPV towers. It is the only AM that comes in loud and clear, good for Phillies day games & NASCAR rain delayed races, but otherwise useless with daytime medical woes shows, Dr. 'do what I say, not what I do' Laura, etc. Unfortunately I cannot pick up Sirius where I sit, I used to be near a window and could pick it up (internet listening was recently banned with the company monitoring internet usage). I can pick up FM pretty well, but I usually tape some Sirius shows at night & listen the next day. What a mix of technology and workplace rules!
